For general consumption, this is a guideline I will strictly enforce in the future...... You can't post family information in the public forum areas or ask for specific advice about dealing with a family member (not the patient), especially when legal action is being contemplated or is occuring. This is for your own safety, as well as to preserve the privacy and tone of the forum, if your family member were to find this place. I just went through a public family battle here, and there won't be any more. You're quite welcome to post about anything related to dementia, Alzheimer's and related diseases in the public forums, including any difficulties you face in the care of your LO. For example, I often talk about dealing with my mother's hallucinations in the general discussion forum, but, if I were to discuss my siblings reluctance to help out or their desire to undermine my mother's estate, that would be discussed in the Caregiver's forum, so as to remain out of the public eye. For the record, I don't have any siblings. A simple rule of thumb to follow would be, if you wouldn't say it to the person's face in a public place, don't post it on the public forums. All posts I deem to have violated this guideline will not be deleted, but will be moved to the Caregiver's forum with a notice and link left in the original posting. I will, however, delete any discussion of such decisions. That is all Neo
