How lonely the tracks look leading away to purple mountains cloaked in white clouds. Seek golden leaves of autumn where Willow weeps beneath her branches bidding farewell to summer.
Deep reds splashed in green soon turn brown along the highway winding toward a bending road.
Russet goddess of autumn days feeds the spirit wandering so weary away from today into tomorrow.
Willow weeps for all passing fading into autumn calling each name never to venture this way again.

Dearest Bobute, Thank you for gentley nudging us to be awake and present to the seasonal changes in nature! Just love how you wrap each element of nature in a loving embrace - 'the joys and the sadness' - that mother nature presents to us, as she leads us all from summer into autumn and beyond. We are being called to be present and aware of the subtle changes; we too are changing and each season brings out the best of what is yet to be. You said it so beautifully, "Russet goddess of autumn days feeds the spirit wandering so weary away from today into tomorrow." May the goddess of our autumn days continue to feed our spirits but especially yours dear friend who shares so generously of your keen awareness of it all. Love and thanks, MaryKathryn
