This is the place to post matters which you deem to be of immediate and wide interest to the forum community, and that are directly related to matters concerning Alzheimer's disease and/or Dementia.

Is there breaking news on a controversial new treatment or test for dementia? Yup, that's what this area is for.

Are you writing a book about a dementing disease and it is going to be published soon? By all means, let us know, and in as much detail as possible.

The announcements forums will be moderated to prevent SPAM.

Inquiry and discussion is invited, if the announcement warrants it, but please do so in the appropriate discussion area. I'll be happy to move threads to those areas.

For people posting web sites for more information and support, this is the place to do it.

The reason I created this place was so such announcements could be read by all, and easily, without wading through discussion threads.

The caveat is that the announcement only be placed here, and not in the discussion threads. Discussion about the site/resource/announcement can go on here in the announcement board (although I discourage this) or, better, at the other site or through IM.
