The Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation’s tri-annual magazine, Preserving Your Memory®, was selected as a winner in the 26th annual National Health Information Awards. This program recognizes the nation’s best consumer health information programs and materials.
The Fisher Center’s Preserving Your Memory® magazine provides readers with the most up-to-date information about Alzheimer’s and what to do if they or a loved one fall victim to the disease. Each issue includes advice for dealing with everyday challenges and what to expect, features on the latest in disease research, where to go for help, as well as caregiving tips and strategies for healthy living.
Preserving Your Memory® received a Gold Award for the Magazine/Newspaper/Newsletter article series category. The dedicated team of publishers and designers at StayWell and the staff at the Fisher Center produce and design this high quality magazine three times a year. “We were delighted to participate in the National Health Information Awards program and honored to be selected as a Gold winner alongside other reputable organizations,” said Lucretia Holden, Senior Vice President at the Fisher Center.
The awards program is coordinated by the Health Information Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for consumer health information programs and materials.
