Persons with mild to moderate dementia including significant executive symptoms* are invited to receive free treatment in a clinical trial study involving brainwave biofeedback training or neurofeedback. Treatment is available nationwide (at least two participants must join to expand to a new city). Controlled studies have shown that neurofeedback can mitigate attentional and impulsivity symptoms in ADHD, and might improve executive and memory function in dementia. For details call the Quietmind Foundation at 484-250-2731, or see www.quietmindfdn.org/dementia-therapy* Executive symptoms can include problems with attention, impulsivity, planning, organizing, strategies of learning and remembering, apathy, judgment, and insight.
